Indoor Garden - Development

2.

1.

While making these sketches I realized that our idea of having an electronically controlled watering system is not really relevant for an indoor garden with all the effective 'analogue' self watering systems I found described on the net (eg. a 'wicking' system). I did some research on these and made some sketches (drawing 2.) and will make one to try this system out. We need to figure out an alternative for the electronic component/design. Lighting could still be good for an indoor garden as many people in the survey said this was a reason they couldn't grow plants indoors.. need to find out how much power lighting would use and the cost. Another option is a small out door glass house with a ventilation system which automatically opens and closes to regulate temp. and humidity. -yvette
